What are your standard performance times?
8PM -12AM. However, this can vary, if, for example, you would like an acoustic performance at the drinks reception and/or the DJ to start earlier or you would like the band to play after 12. These items are additional costs and would be reflected in your final quote.
How much do you charge?
We're proud to say we don't rip people off. Our standard wedding performance 8PM - 12AM, with DJ covering band breaks & learning the first dance is around £1000-£1100. Though please get in touch & we'll put together a bespoke quote for your requirements.
How long does it take you to setup?
Generally we can do it in 30 mins but we prefer, if possible, to allow for 45 minutes for our complete setup.
do you play ceilidh music?
Yes! We do a 30 minute set with a piper. He will call the dances and switch between flute & pipes.
do you provide music during your break?
Yes, we do. Our sound engineer will take over with the DJ decks & keep the celebrations going. You can also provide your own playlist if preferred.
How long is your break?
That depends on how long we are required to play for. If it's our standard times, we'll usually have a 30 minute break and then a shorter comfort break later in the evening.
Will you learn our first dance or a specific song?
How far do you travel?
The furthest we have been is 50 miles, that's not to say our limit is 50 miles. If your venue is a bit further afield, please don't hesitate to get in touch - we're happy to consider each enquiry on an individual basis.
Can we pick what songs to play?
We have been playing together since 2009 & it's with experience we say, this is not a great idea. We much prefer to read the crowd on the night and ensure everyone in the audience hears something they like. By all means, if there is specific songs you definitely want to hear, please let us know.
How do I secure the band for my wedding OR function?
This is covered in our terms & conditions. To secure the date, 20% of the final quote must be paid, this is a non-refundable deposit. We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card, cheque or cash. Details will be on the invoice when issued.
